As we expand our operations and market presence on the West Coast, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President Designate of Sales to drive our sales 
strategy and revenue growth.


We are targeting ambitious growth in Western USA and are looking to recruit an experienced sales professional to develop our customer base in the region and beyond. Reporting directly into the CEO, the VP Designate will be a self-motivating and meticulously organized visionary sales leader, with a passion for driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer value. This individual will be able to work autonomously with a proactive approach and will also possess the ability to grow a small sales team for long-term success. 
Alongside, they will build lasting customer relationships and coordinate efforts in line with the overall company sales strategy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand market share on the West Coast.

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and market trends within the West Coast region; stay abreast of competitor activities and industry developments.

  • Drive direct sales efforts, engaging with potential clients and converting leads into successful projects.

  • Champion self-generated sales initiatives, demonstrating a hands-on approach to achieving targets agreed with the board of directors.

  • Identify opportunities for business expansion, new markets, and new product or service offerings.

  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring successful delivery of products and services in collaboration with customer service and production.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including production, marketing, logistics, and customer service) to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.

  • Monitor project progress, address bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders to foster business growth and enhance market presence.

  • Understand client needs and tailor solutions to address specific requirements.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales function to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Stay informed about industry trends.

  • Adapt sales strategies based on market dynamics and client feedback.

  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine approaches and maximize results.

  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management highlighting required KPI’s.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and cultivate business relationships.



  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to think strategically about market positioning, pricing strategies, to drive sales growth.

  • Understanding of financial metrics related to sales performance, forecasting, and budget management.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset; adept at problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Experience presenting to varying levels of corporate and informal sales settings with proven results across different types of organizations.

  • Ability to travel frequently within the West Coast region and occasionally nationally as required.

  • Proficiency with sales technology tools such as CRM systems and data analytics to optimize sales processes and track performance.

  • Willingness to adapt to the dynamic nature of the SME environment and contribute to cross-functional collaboration within the organization
